Fruity French Toast Skewers

I saw this somewhere and I wish I could remember where. This is my take on it.  We cubed some Texas toast, put it in the oven for a few and tossed it in a french toast batter.   A little buttermilk,  eggs,  and sugar.  Then into the skillet it went.  I chopped up some green and red apples, some strawberries and bananas while I was waiting for the cubes to brown.  I tossed some of the french toast in cinnamon sugar and the others in powdered sugar.   Then I threaded it all on skewers and served it up with some eggs and bacon.
